TRIMM builds digital experience for FBK Games

Together with Morskieft Ontwerpers, TRIMM developed the new website and application for the FBK Games in Hengelo. The entire platform is provided with a new identity which corresponds with the application. “We deliberately signed a sponsor contract for several years with the FBK Games to make sure we can continue with the development of the website and app for the following years. We are creating an experience of the FBK Games.”, says director Marc Woesthuis.

“With the appearance of Global Sports we are beginning a new chapter with enthusiasm. We also made the FBK Games promotional video which just went live, and the website is filled with many new possibilities. The app is available for Android and Apple devices. Through push messages, the users receive the right information about participants, new records, personal records of the participants, etcetera. All relevant information is available for the spectators.“

Top performances

The further development of the app will take place during the upcoming years. “We’ll build in gimmicks like ‘measure yourself in relation to the athlete’ and much more.”, according to Marc Woesthuis. “A multiannual contract is good for the FBK Games and we think it is incredibly cool to do this. The things that drive you make you perform. This event suits us well; top performances are achieved, it is international, and the world's best athletes are competing. As TRIMM, we want to reflect on that.”

Battles

This year, the program is adapted to make sure the different athletic events do not take place at the same time. “To make the program more transparent, it has been decided that certain parts of it will be left out. The emphasis lies on the battle between the runners and at the same time the pole vault will be held. This gives all athletes the attention they deserve. The visitors are always up-to-date because of the app.”
